Effective Treatment Planning - CCS004

Person-centered treatment ensures the best quality of care for a patient. All treatment plans should be comprehensive and specifically designed to meet the patient's needs. This course teaches professionals how to utilize their patient mental health assessment to assist in the treatment planning process; develop realistic goals toward growth and healing; and utilize the patient input in the treatment planning process.

Ethics Training - CCS006

Doing the "right" thing may not always be the right thing. Ethical considerations are always a concern of treatment. At times professionals may find themselves in compromising situations that may impact their decision-making skills and result in severe consequences. This course reviews the ethical issues that may arise in behavioral health and how to best respond to such situations. This course also provides a review of ethical violations and consequences associated with such actions. 

Documentation Training - CCS013

Documentation is an imperative and essential part of determining if a job has been conducted properly. Whether private or group practices, or other agencies, each entity relies on documentation as official proof of an encounter in order to receive funding for services provided. Designed for QMHPs, clinicians, and public servants, this 1.5 hr course covers all the essential criteria, principles, and best practices for documenting encounters related to the mental health field. 

Recognizing Mental Health Symptoms - CCS014A

Mental illness is considered a disorder covering a vast range of mental health conditions that can affect a person’s day-to-day living. The National Institute of Mental Health has reported that nearly 1 in 5 adults have a mental issue. In this course, we will review commonly seen disorders within the community including Bipolar, Bipolar II, Major Depression and Schizophrenia. Participants in this class will also learn about mania and hypomania, and what these episodes look like. This 8-hour training is specifically designed for non-clinical civil servants, with the primary objective of providing a better understanding of mental illnesses, their signs, and symptoms to look for. In addition, this course will help individuals communicate effectively with those who suffer with a mental condition.

Anger Management Groups - CCS015 Coming soon

Anger is a normal, healthy emotion when acting within reason. However, when anger influences a person to act out of control, becoming destructive, it can cause problems in their day-to-day living. Areas affected by anger are: work, school, and personal relationships, which can lead into legal issues. This course sheds light on unresolved issues of anger, encourages understanding of anger, and provides tools and techniques to mitigate uncontrollable anger. This is a 10-part, 1.5 hour weekly course with the goal of assisting the individual in becoming conscious of their inability to control their anger.

Anger can be seen as a secondary emotion that often masks a person's initial emotion.  Learning to understand the brain's physiology and how to process triggers are the beginning steps to understanding displaced emotions.

Our Homeschool Evaluator brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. With over 30 years of professional expertise, our primary goal is to promote growth and understanding.

Special Population - CCS003 Coming soon

We are all exceedingly unique. However, such uniqueness can oftentimes be seen as a deficit by others. Understanding cognitive and emotional development can assist in understanding our diverse population. This course will show what intellectual/developmental and other mental disorders look like and how they can affect a person's behavior.

Understanding Anxiety and Depression - CCS009 Coming soon

Highs and lows are an inevitable part of life. These waves of emotion caused by life experiences in our environment often impact how we respond to others. Unfortunately for some, these emotions have become a spiraling cycle that causes current behavioral health issues which can be traced back through adolescence. Anxiety and depression are the most commonly linked faces of mental health - when you see one, the other is soon to present itself. This 1.5 hour course explores the intricate relationship of anxiety and depression, its symptomology, preventative methods, and treatment modalities.  

Understanding the Traumas of Military Personnel - CCS011 Coming soon 

Post-traumatic stress in the Armed Forces has been a commonality for decades. There is a wide array of training and certifications provided to mental health professionals to assist with treatment for PTSD and its symptomology within the military population. This 1.5 hour course provides a different perspective and explores all aspects of the soldiers' ecological and psychological systems post-combat. Additionally, this course offers treatment methods and insight on environmental and internal triggers that may provoke or worsen PTSD symptoms.

What primary services do you offer?

Crimson Clinical Services provides mental health psychoeducational training services. 

What are the rates of your services?

Our rates range from $45-$200 per person per course; however, special group rates may be available. Please email us with your question or scheduling requests at  info.crimsonclinicalservices@gmail.com  or contact us by phone at  (804) 441-0710.

Are service fees refundable?

Unfortunately not. All purchases are final. 

What if I can't make it to my class or I need to cancel?

If you are unable to attend a course please contact us as soon as possible at  info.crimsonclinicalservices@gmail.com or by phone at (804) 441-0710 to reschedule. A non-refundable $25 rescheduling fee will be required at time of scheduling.

Are classes only offered online?

No. Classes can be scheduled for in-person training upon request.  In addition, there must be at least 10 participants to schedule in-person training.
